6.30 Am: Vietnam Travel Depot’s car and guide will pick you up at hotel In Saigon and depart to Ninh Kieu Pier, Can Tho City.

Board the Mekong Eyes at 12.30 at Ninh Kieu Pier in Can Tho. We will show you our on-board facilities and your cosy cabin. Enjoy a refreshing welcome drink. As lunch is served, the boat starts cruising downstream on the Hau river.  Watch the daily life of the Mekong people through the panoramic windows. The boat heads to Tra On floating market, then up the Nikolai canal to Cai Nhum, a little town on the banks of the river Mang Thit. Disembark for a leisurely stroll through the village and the surrounding fruit orchards or rice fields. Meet the friendly locals.

Get back on board and enjoy a drink at the bar or relax on the deck as the sun sets over the magnificent water landscape. The boat will anchor for the night, about 2 hours away from Cai Be. The day ends with a delicious on-board dinner.  

Wake up to the sound of the River and get ready for another exciting day of sightseeing. At 06.30 we set off for a sunrise cruise through Cho Lach canal, teeming with sand and rice barges. Watch the locals go about their daily work drying exotic fruits and building ships on the wooden yards.

After breakfast, we will have a sampan boat tour of Cai Be floating market, one of the region's busiest markets. Marvel at the sheer abundance of exotic fruits, vegetables and skilfully handicrafted regional products. We will pull up to the boats for talking and bargaining with the merchants. We will also visit some of the local candy and cake making factories.

11.00 Disembark on Cai Be Quay. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City, Lunch en route by your own. The tour ends at your hotel.
