Visiting three Hanoi's famous villages making traditional handcraft products such as silk, ceramic,...
Day By Day Itinerary:
Day 1
After breakfast, depart from your hotel to visit Van Phuc Village, situated on the bank of Nhue River, which is the major traditional silk making village in Vietnam. The sound of looms has filled Van Phuc for a thousand years, and is a touching sound to villagers when returning from far away.
After lunch, drive crossing the Red River to Bat Trang Ceramic Village, most ancient and famous for making fine ceramics and pottery. On your arrival, stroll in the small alleys of the old village to watch local people producing their fine products. Here we will see the complete production process, starting from preparing the clay, shaping the items, drawing and putting them into the kiln. Continue to visit some of the houses used as workshops and showrooms. It is a great opportunity to bargain for some products as a special souvenir of the trip. You can try to make a little ceramic product for your own (optional).
Then drive to Dinh Bang Village to enjoy its traditional Quan Ho Performance at Do Temple, which is famous for its unique architecture. Return to Hanoi by car. Dinner at local restaurant
